Pepe Dive Mahahual

Pepe dive Mahahual is located in Mahahual, a small fishing village south of Playa del Carmen in Mexico, on the border with Belize. The area is part of the "Costa Maya" and the Mexican Caribbean Biosphere Reserve. We also dive in the Xcalak National Park and the Banco Chinchorro Biosphere Reserve.

The center is located on the promenade of Mahahual, in the Blue Reef building, with a terrace on the beach to rest and have a drink between dives, toilets, showers, restaurant, and even a rooftop pool. The shop offers the full range of diving and snorkeling equipment, from masks and fins to regulators and dive computers. There is the possibility to rent equipment for diving, snorkeling, and kayaking.

We embark on the spacious Kraken boat, built in Belize, which has a V-shaped hull, allowing good stability and two powerful outboard motors of 140 HP each to get to Banco Chinchorro. Measuring 12m long by 3m wide, it can accommodate 18 divers with their equipment. It is moored at the fishermen's wharf, two minutes from the premises.

Pepe dive Mahahual offers training from ACUC International (American Canadian Underwater Certification) from starting levels up to professional certifications. Our main goal here is to teach, disseminate and promote diving. The courses are personalized and are adapted to the level of the student. The local diving environment - shallow depth, high visibility, no currents - offers ideal conditions.
